This isn't exactly a newborn product, but as soon as your little one can sit up, you will need a good seat to feed them in. This flexible, cushioned booster by Mutsy can be used alone, on a standard kitchen chair, or in conjunction with Musty's Easygrow. There are so many things that I like about the Grow-Up. First, and most superficial, are the colors. They are vibrant, gorgeous, deep colors, and the Grow-Up would fit in at even the most stylish dining room table. Second, is the ease of use. I loathe having to fish for straps, slide this in here, and then hook that in there, then try to hold all the pieces together while I simultaneously attempt to anchor it all together in the middle. What a pain in my backside! The side and shoulder straps on either side of the seat are already connected, so you simply lift the shoulder strap over your child's arm, pull the side across their lap and snap. Then lather, rinse, and repeat on the other side. Top, middle, and bottom straps are fully adjustable for the most comfortable fit for your child. The seat straps onto your regular kitchen chair and is held securely with a back strap and a bottom strap that tightens underneath your chair. Third, I love the material that the soft part of the seat is made of. It squishes like the Bumbo, but it has a cool textured feel. Last, it's easy to clean. For most foods you just wipe them up with a wet cloth and you're good to go. Then you can use your favorite baby-safe cleaner, like Dapple, and do a quick deep cleaning wipe down. For us, it's been the perfect alternative to the high-chair, and this way even your littlest one can join in the conversations at the table.
