Trust Me on TNT

High powered ad executives, threatening deadlines, lifelong friendships, yin and yang, with a little bit of humor on top. The producers of Nip/Tuck and The Closer are bringing a new kind of drama to TV. Set in the high paced, higher pressure Advertising world this show is about the dynamics of a friendship surviving partnership and competition.

Ok, now back to Heather speak. I liked the show alot. Even though Trust Me is labeled as a drama, there were so real LOL moments that I loved. It was also very refreshing to see a close (non-sexual) relationship between 2 men be portrayed on TV. Usually when I see men with their friends on TV it's all very macho and antagonistic, but this dynamic duo of Edward McCormick and Tom Cavanaugh mesh perfectly as childhood friends grown into adult parterns (again... NON sexual). With a great supporting cast including a pair of geeky office guys, a misunderstood powerful female new hire, and their uber experienced boss this show is very well rounded. Not too stuffy, not too hammy.

Tune in to TNT tomorrow @ 9pm CST to catch episode #2 (which was my favorite of 1 and 2) of Trust Me.
